Keep your pet protected Year Round!
Due to the common misconception that fleas die off in the Winter, many pet owners skip flea prevention treatments when it gets colder. Fleas can withstand normal Winter conditions, however they will not survive harsh conditions (roughly 10 days at 37° or 5 days at 33°). Even in states where this weather is normal for Winter, fleas can still survive in your heated home where your pet is likely to reside.
It is also common to think that Spring and Summer are the only seasons pet owners need to worry about ticks. Unfortunately, the blacklegged tick (aka deer tick) is most active in Fall and Winter and is best known for spreading Lyme Disease.
Don’t let your pets suffer, keep them protected year-round from fleas & ticks!
