Mux will be 3 years old in February 2009. We got him neutered at six months and at eight months he had OCD surgery on the right shoulder. At 10 months he had an obstruction surgery to stomach and intestines (ate his bed). Then at 12 months he was hospitalized with the Corona virus he picked up at a kennel we boarded him at for two nights! Mux then had OCD surgery on his left shoulder at month 14. Finally at 16 months we thought we were home free, but at 18 months he sliced the back of his leg open and had to have surgery to close it up to heal properly. With all this, Mux has constant ear infections. We continually purchase the Cosequin from EntirelyPets.com to help with maintenance of joint problems into the future. Mux is a high maintenance, expensive!, million dollar baby!!!
He is a strong swimmer (great therapy) and is an excellent pheasant hunter!
We love him dearly!

Answer:
There are many preventive steps you can take to help your dog live a well balanced healthy lifestyle. You also want to give your dog a lot of exercise and make sure they are on a well balanced eating schedule. You can start giving your dog low fat, low cholesterol foods to reduce strain on the bile system. Denestra is a great nutritional supplement for dogs and cats that helps support liver, joint, and cognitive functions.
I think I’m human, but they say I’m an English Springer Spaniel. Maybe that’s why I have this strange fascination for squirrels. My favorite toy from Entirely Pets is the Busy Buddy Rubber Football. I love to eat apples and most other kinds of fruits and vegetables. I absolutely love to go bye-bye with my family and I despise staying home when I can’t. I like to shake hands but most of all I love to fetch and chase butterflies.

The last time you brought a date over to your place; did your dog act abnormally? Don’t be surprised because your dog is probably jealous. The strong bond that you built between you and your canine can go deeper into creating a love triangle with your significant other.

Prior to recent studies, dogs were previously believed to not harbor emotions like jealousy, embarrassment, empathy, or guilt. This is quite the contrary as Dr. Friederike Range of the University of Vienna’s neurobiology department has found that “dogs feel intense jealousy when they are unfairly treated compared with other dogs.” “Dogs show a strong aversion to inequity.” The study also involved other animals such as cats, horses, cows, and sheep. “They can suffer simple forms of many emotions we once thought only primates could experience,” says Dr. Paul Morris, psychologist at the University of Portsmouth.

Dr. Morris also found that among dog owners, almost all reported jealous behavior. The dog often tried to pry their owner away from a new lover in the early days of a relationship. Behavioral experts think that the best thing to do is keep their dog’s routine as much as possible when a new partner or child comes along to prevent jealous activity by the dog such as barking or whining.

Despite the crowds and long lines you face in retail stores, it’s always the thought that counts when choosing a gift for a certain someone. The same applies to dogs they love having new toys to chew on or interesting things to jump on top of. Take a look at this partial list of great products to get for the dog in mind.

The Otis & Claude Bettie Fetch Toy is one of the most creative toys to use to have fun with your dog while giving it a light snack. If your dog love’s peanut butter, lay some into the hollow legs of the Bettie Fetch Toy and freeze it overnight. On the following day, throw the Bettie Fetch Toy in the park and watch your dog slobber away!
